FAQ & troubleshooting

Quick answers to common questions. For what each level can do, see Which level am I? and the capability matrix.

Using Processor

Which level am I, and how do I upgrade?

Your administrator assigns your level (1–4). You can tell roughly which level you're on by what's available: if you only have the Miro panel, you're Level 1; if you can open the website, you're Level 2+; if you can choose the model and download BPMN, you're Level 3+; if you can add your own API key, you're Level 4. To change level, ask your administrator.

The diagram looks rough or messy — is that normal?

Yes. Processor produces a straw-man — a first draft. The layout is generated automatically, so expect to nudge boxes and connectors by hand in Miro. It's meant to be a better starting point than a blank board, not a finished diagram.

The draw takes several minutes — is something wrong?

No. Generating the detail and/or the diagram with an LLM takes a little time, and you draw one process at a time on purpose (so diagrams don't overlap or stall). At Level 1 and 2 the diagram is built when you press draw, so the first draw of a process is the slowest part. Re-drawing the same process is instant and free because it reuses the existing diagram.

Why did my processes and diagrams disappear?

Re-running the analysis (re-identifying processes) or uploading a new transcript clears the generated processes and diagrams for that transcript. Your transcript is always kept. Processor warns you first and offers Download backup (zip) — take it if you might want that work back. See Getting started.

How do I keep a backup before re-analyzing?

When you do something that would clear your results, Processor shows a warning with a Download backup (zip) button — click it. This is available at every level. (Level 3+ also has a separate "Download all (zip)" export you can use any time.)

I've run out of balance.

Your balance is a prepaid cap set by your administrator. When it's used up, ask your administrator to top it up or raise your cap. Remember that re-drawing an already-drawn process is free.

Levels & features

Where is the model selector? I can't choose the AI model.

Choosing the Claude model is a Level 3+ feature. On Levels 1 and 2 the default model is used.

The website opened using the wrong model (Level 3/4).

Known quirk: when you open the website from the panel link, it doesn't carry over the model you picked in the panel — it starts on the default. Just select your model again on the website before running.

I can't download the BPMN file.

Downloading BPMN files is a Level 3+ feature. On Level 2 you can download the Markdown outputs, but not the BPMN.

My own API key was rejected (Level 4).

Check the key is valid and active in your Anthropic account, then re-add it on the website's "Your API key" panel. By design, Level 4 runs only on your key and never falls back to the shared account, so an invalid key will stop the run.

Known quirks (beta)

The screen flashes while a run is in progress.

A known cosmetic issue during a run on the website (Level 2/3) — the screen may appear to refresh every second. It doesn't affect your results.

Downloaded files have generic names like OP1.md.

For now, generated files download with short names (e.g. OP1.md). More descriptive names are planned. You can rename the file after downloading.
